Bangkok is hot every month. The dry, cool season (November–February) is the premier travel window with low humidity and manageable temperatures. The monsoon (May–October) brings flooding and intense heat. March–April (pre-monsoon) is the hottest and most uncomfortable period.

Maui is known as the Valley Isle, with two volcanic mountains — Haleakala at 10,023 feet and the West Maui Mountains — creating dramatic climate variation across a single island. The island's diverse microclimates range from dry desert to rainforest within miles.
