About Spandau in July

Spandau's position at the confluence of the Spree and Havel rivers gives it Berlin's strongest waterside cooling effect, with summer temperatures regularly 3–4°C below central districts. The extensive Spandauer Forst to the north generates cool forest air that flows into the built-up areas during evening hours, making frost more frequent here in winter as well.
