About Normafa in April
Normafa at approximately 480m elevation is Budapest's premier hilltop recreation area, where summer temperatures average 5–7°C cooler than the Pest city center and winter snowpack persists days longer than at lower elevations. The dense beech forest generates high humidity and traps cool air beneath the canopy, creating conditions closer to Central European montane climate than urban Budapest.
