Burlington Weather in October

Burlington on Lake Champlain is Vermont's largest city and UVM's home. Lake Champlain provides significant maritime moderation compared to inland Vermont — Burlington is notably warmer in winter and cooler in summer than Vermont's Green Mountain towns. The Adirondacks across the lake and Green Mountains to the east create weather shadows.
