Columbus Weather in September

Columbus is Ohio's capital and largest city, centrally located in the state away from Lake Erie's strong influence. The city has a humid continental climate with hot humid summers and cold winters, but without the lake-effect snow that Cleveland and other lake cities receive. The Olentangy and Scioto Rivers flow through the city creating some local weather influence.

Excellent shoulder season — warm with fewer tourists in many destinations.
