Dover Weather in September

Dover, Delaware's capital, sits in the central Delmarva Peninsula away from direct coastal influence. The flat terrain and agricultural surroundings create a modified continental climate. Summers are hot and humid while winters are mild compared to northern Delaware, but nor'easters can still bring significant snow.
