Eugene Weather in September

Eugene at the south end of the Willamette Valley is the University of Oregon's city. The valley narrows here with the McKenzie and Willamette Rivers converging. Eugene has a slightly more continental climate than Portland with more temperature extremes, still with the characteristic rainy winters and warm dry summers.

Excellent shoulder season — warm with fewer tourists in many destinations.
