Fayetteville Weather in September

Fayetteville at the Fall Line on the Cape Fear River is home to Fort Liberty (formerly Fort Bragg), one of the world's largest military installations. The city is at the boundary between the Piedmont and Coastal Plain, giving it a warm humid subtropical climate with significant summer heat and humidity. The military base generates its own weather considerations.
