Flint Weather in September

Flint in east-central Michigan has a humid continental climate with cold, snowy winters and warm summers. The Flint River flows through the city and became infamous for its water crisis from 2014-2019. Positioned between Lake Huron to the east and Lake Michigan to the west, Flint can receive lake-effect snow from both lakes depending on wind direction.

Excellent shoulder season — warm with fewer tourists in many destinations.
