Gresham Weather in September

Gresham east of Portland in the Columbia River Gorge entrance has a transitional climate between the maritime Willamette Valley and the more continental Columbia River Plateau. The Gorge channels powerful east winds (called 'Gorge winds') that can reach hurricane force when pressure differences between the coast and interior build up.

Excellent shoulder season — warm with fewer tourists in many destinations.
