Henderson Weather in October

Henderson is Nevada's second-largest city, a master-planned suburb southeast of Las Vegas. The city's higher elevation (2,189 feet) and distance from the Strip means slightly more bearable summer heat. Henderson was founded as a magnesium processing city for WWII and has transformed into a residential community with excellent parks.
