Killeen Weather in September

Killeen in central Texas is Fort Cavazos (formerly Fort Hood) town, home to the largest US military base in the world. The Central Texas climate has hot summers and mild winters with violent spring thunderstorm potential. The base's enormous training areas include varied terrain from cedar-juniper scrub to cultivated fields.
