Newark Weather in September

Newark is New Jersey's largest city, directly west of Manhattan. The city has an intense urban heat island effect made worse by its industrial legacy and significant impervious surfaces. Newark Airport is one of the nation's busiest, and the Passaic River and Newark Bay provide some maritime influence. The city has significant heat vulnerability in its dense residential neighborhoods.
