Odessa Weather in September

Odessa is Midland's twin city to the west in the Permian Basin. The Friday Night Lights city has a more working-class oil industry character than affluent Midland. The two cities share the same extreme semi-arid climate.

Excellent shoulder season — warm with fewer tourists in many destinations.
