Sandy Springs Weather in October

Sandy Springs north of Atlanta on the Chattahoochee River is one of Georgia's wealthiest suburbs. The Chattahoochee National Recreation Area provides a significant natural buffer along the river. The city's elevation above the Atlanta basin provides slightly cooler conditions but it remains firmly in the Atlanta metro heat island.
