Sydney Weather in March

Sydney enjoys a temperate oceanic climate with warm summers, mild winters, and rainfall throughout the year. Sydney Harbour and the Pacific Ocean create significant coastal influence — sea breezes (locally called the 'Southerly Buster') arrive in summer afternoons and dramatically cool the city within minutes. Western suburbs are 5–10°C hotter in summer than coastal areas, and extreme fire weather during inland heat waves creates dangerous conditions.
