Charleston Weather in October

Charleston at the confluence of the Ashley and Cooper Rivers on the Atlantic coast has a hot subtropical climate softened by sea breezes. The historic peninsula city was repeatedly hit by major hurricanes and rising sea levels are causing recurring flooding even in sunny weather.
