Pensacola Weather in September

Pensacola in the Florida Panhandle is the westernmost major Florida city, with a climate more similar to southern Alabama than peninsular Florida. Pensacola Bay and the Gulf of Mexico provide moderation but the city sees stronger winter cold fronts than southern Florida. The famous Pensacola Beach white quartz sand reflects rather than absorbs heat.
